about

This was the first song I wrote after finishing 'The Loneliness' album back in 2021. I remember convincing myself that it was the best thing I had written at the time. I liked it so much in fact that I wrote an entire album around it. I had originally planned to record this song and release it as the opener to said album. Unfortunately life had other plans for me.

After recording this song in the end of 2022 I stopped working on the album, and music in general. It wasn't until a few months ago that I started playing again. Now, almost 2 years after recording it, I have decided to release it as a single and a bit of an homage to the album that never was and never will be...

Don't worry too much though, I have already started working an a new new album, and I can't wait to share more music with you all. For now, please enjoy the intensely paranoid and anxiety filled 'Catastrophizing'.

lyrics

LYRICS:

Every second, all I think about is being dead
I just want all these thoughts to end
Please get these things out of my head
It’s not that I want to stop living
I just can’t stop always thinking
About the worst possible
Thing that could go wrong at any
Moment, at any second

There must be something wrong with me
I can’t eat, I can’t sleep
There must be something wrong with me

Every time that everything is going fine
My mind slips into a world where every
Red light my car slides right on past the line
And strangers kill me in the streets
My boss can’t stop firing me
What’s the worst possible
Thing that could go wrong at any
Moment, at any second?

There must be something wrong with me
I can’t eat, I can’t sleep
There must be something wrong with me
There must be something wrong with me
I can’t think, I can’t think
I can’t think, I can’t think (There must be something wrong with me)

My heart stops beating
My dogs not breathing
My friends are leaving
I get caught while stealing
My tire explodes
The world implodes
My guts are exposed
And I’m left all alone

(There must be something wrong with me
There must be something wrong with me
There must be something wrong with me
There must be something wrong with me)
